Kadeco asses stakeholder progress on Strategic Plan
Three months back from now Kaana Development Communications Consultancy designed strategic plans for various institutions which were mainly primary schools in the sub-counties of Nabbaale, Kasawo and Seeta-Namuganga Mukono district.
Recently the president KADECO paid a visit to these institutions to assess how the stakeholders of the institutions were progressing ever since the strategic planning was conducted. In a brief interview with the with each of the stakeholders of the institutions, the outcomes of the strategic plan are going to bear fruits since the stakeholders are working tooth and nail within the boundaries of the strategic plan to ensure that whatever was agreed upon in the strategic plan is achieved.
In most of the institutions the management has embarked on the task of making bricks as one of the activities of ensuring that the strategic plan is well implemented so as to change the appearance and environment of their schools.
There has also been an emergence of establishing a fishing village in a bid to promote aquaculture (fish farming) at river Lwajali to ensure that people make use of the readily available natural resources like the river and its waters. This will lead to the revival of the coffee cooperative that collapsed and this time it will be integrated if not even changed to a cooperative of fish farmers.
